Iraq Attack Kills 65, Wounds Nearly 100 More

On Tuesday in Tikrit, near Baghdad, gunmen and explosives took the lives of at least 65 people as that number continues to grow and wounded nearly 100 more.

This has brought immense suffering to the surviving victims and to all of the families. Our hearts and our prayers go out to these families. Eight years after the U.S. invaded and occupied Iraq, there is no end to war as the horrors continue.
