Dear Reader, The nearly nine year U.S. War in Iraq officially ended on 12/31/13 but there is no peace. The message from this endless death and destruction in Iraq is simple. The results of war are horrific and mankind would be far better served in helping humanity rather than destroying it. It seems so obvious and yet as this message is being written, wars are being fought in many parts of the world including the U.S.'s already 12 year long Afghanistan War.
Each of us as spiritual beings has a remarkable level of personal power. Please say a prayer on behalf of wars' many current and recent victims, as you hold these people dear in your heart. And if there is a peace vigil in your area, please join it. Where there is an opportunity to make a charitable donation to help, please make a donation.
There is something each of us can do if only we look within ourselves.
