Cause And Affect

In wide swatches of the war torn Middle East, we see the "enemy" not as mankind like ourselves but as subhuman killers "that can't be reasoned with."

Our answer is to murder them, and often anyone else with the misfortune of being near them, including children.

We never see ourselves as perpetrators who commit evil acts and we hold ourselves accountable for nothing. We don't see today's horrors coming from the cause of our actions but rather they come from people who arose for some unknown reason, hellbent to kill us.

Reality is, if we want peace, we must seek it through peaceful means. We must reach out to our brethren with goodwill and help them to solve the problems of poverty, ignorance and hopelessness.

For we are all spiritual beings here together seeking personal growth on this brief journey of life.

Or we can stay on our current path and fight endless wars, committing endless atrocities, all in the name of peace. The choice is ours.
