We Are Only Killing Ourselves

We are all on this brief journey of life together, and when we kill supposedly for democracy or religious freedom or some other "noble cause," all we have done is brought great pain and sorrow to our fellow beings. We have done nothing but use violence to give momentary power and riches to the few at great cost to the many. The wise among us know this and instead practice peace, patience and forgiveness.
