Each time a person stands up for an ideal, or acts to improve the lot of others,or strikes out against injustice, he sends forth a tiny ripple of hope, and crossing each other from a million different centers of energy and daring, those ripples build a current which can sweep down the mightiest walls of oppression and resistance.
The Candlelight Vigils were held Wednesdays in Torrance, CA. in memory of all who had died or been seriously wounded in the wars in Iraq & Afghanistan. In all we held 303 peace vigils, from January, 2006 to January, 2012.

Ripples of Change, Robert Kennedy in 1966
Dear Reader, John Fortier shared this from a 1966 Robert Kennedy speech. Regardless of whose words they are the concept is excellent.
In 1966 Robert Kennedy said this in a speech he made in South Africa. I think the guy had a point.
