Multiple Bombings In Iraq Among Attacks Killing 23 Iraqis, Injuring 44 More: Notes From Candlelight Vigils, 3/8/12

Dear Reader, The horrors in Iraq continued yesterday as men and likely women and children were killed or injured, causing a horrific impact on their families. http://original.antiwar.com/updates/2012/03/07/double-bombing-in-tal-afar-among-attacks-that-killed-23-iraqis/

As has long been clear, the Iraq government the U.S. put in power can do little to consistently protect the Iraqi people and government officials seek very heavy security for themselves and their families. It is my hope that the fighting which began with the U.S. invasion of March 2003 will finally end and that the Iraqi people will find a peaceful way to live together.
