In February, it is estimated that 1,705 men, women and children were killed in Iraq, while another 2,045 were wounded. http://news.antiwar.com/2014/03/01/over-1700-killed-in-february-iraq-bloodshed/
This is the continuing sad saga of the U.S. invasion of Iraq in March, 2003. Adding to the sadness, this horror show continues with no end in sight.
History told us an Iraq War or any other war would lead to tragedy, but we as mankind allowed it to happen. Now the Iraqi people and the families of all the dead and wounded soldiers bear the horrific consequences, while the rest of mankind moves on, as if this whole gruesome affair had never happened.
We as people of conscience offer our prayers, and we make charitable contributions as we seek peace and to help the victims in any way we can.
